Dave Hansen
Instructor in the ESRI Authorized Training Program. Over
twenty years experience with ESRI software. Author of numerous papers and
articles on the application of GIS and remote sensing technology to address
issues in a variety of fields. These include archeology, natural resources, and
water resources. Mr. Hansen is certified as a GIS Professional. He is an active
member of several professional organizations including ASPRS, ASTM, and URISA. President of the Northern California Chapter of URISA for 2007. Secretary for 2005 and 2006. Board

Cathy Hansen
Cathy ably assists Dave in all areas of the delivery of instruction. She is currently working toward a GIS Certificate from American River College while working full time as a Microcomputer Specialist with San Juan Unified School District. She has created and taught many computer classes for teachers. Her current GIS passion is the analysis of demographic data. "I am very excited about the new Tiger data that has just become available."

The vision for GIS Training Mutual is to provide training in use of GIS software and assist in the application of GIS to address issues in a collaborative environment. The intent is to provide mutual support for professionals in meeting training and related professional obligations to their clients.
Commitment to the Environment
As a part of our commitment to improving the environment around us, we plan to donate 5% of our profits to various environmental charities. We haven't figured out all the details. We are considering having our students vote for their favorite environmental organization.
